Lost a really good friend to cancer today

I found out this morning that a really good friend had died last night. He was about 50 with a great wife and 2 wonderful kids, son, Cal 12 and daughter Rachel 15.
Bob was a professor at Middlebury College and taught courses on maps, GPS work etc. A truely fascinating guy and great fun to be with. I will miss him dearly. God how I hate cancer.
