You probably could get it from VPW. You have a fresh engine if it were me I would by-pass the filter to eliminate it as a possible cause. It takes a very short time for oil to get to all moving parts even after changing a filter on an engine that has sat overnight (5-10 sec.) A rebuilt engine can run for a considerable time before it starts squealing, I know. I rebuilt a Chrysler 230 OHC Tornado engine that had a problem – the oil pump wasn’t working. Each time I started it to run a test when it would just start squealing I turned it off, let it cool. It took several attempts before I found and fixed the problem - no damage to the engine. I also can say I ran a Buick 400 CID low on oil and the bearings squealed for about a mile, made it home and had a seized engine. If you are not hearing that noise each time just before the bearings spun, you may have another problem. I would definitely get some of the additives that allow the engine to run with no oil and coat the parts on assembly before I started it after a repair. If you haven’t already, check the oil passages to the two front bearings to ensure they are not partially plugged. You are using plastic gauge to check the clearance between the bearings and crank?
