I am a welder by trade. My best guidance is get a 110V mig welder with gas. I've seen and tried the cheaper gasless models and was NOT impressed. I have a lincoln 110V woth gas and love and bought it for autobody repair. You will not get the thickness out of it due to the 110 V input. Any other questions feel free to email me.
