what's up with this?

why are so many of the bolts on a ffpw fine thread? i thought that given the same diameter and alloy that coarse threads were stronger. i am in the middle of rebuilding my mu2 winch and all the brackets and would like to replace all the bolts(which are fine thread ) with grade 8 bolts but which thread pitch?
