I was there for 2 weeks back in the summer of 1980, spent time on my buddies families
wheat farm, 4000 acres, which his grandfather homesteaded in 1912. Still had the remnants of an old Maxwell car in the original barn, and the barn was still in good condition. The car was turned into a saw by attaching a blade to one of the rear brake drums. There was no body on it. Probably still in there. Had a couple of Ford stake body trucks from the 30's and 40's in another barn, which were in great shape with no rust. I got to help out with
the wheat harvest one day, riding a combine and hauling wheat back to the barn with a stake body truck. It was really enjoyable, as the cousins on the farm were just nice clean living Idaho farmers. I will never forget it. I live in Florida, on the panhandle, which is nice in it's own way, with beautiful pure white sand beaches.
Unfortunately, it is getting built up like a lot of places, but no snow !!!
