Has any legitimate pollster ever polled you or anybody you know? I don't know of anyone who's really been polled, but somehow these pollsters call 100 people (all people who have listed land-line phone numbers and happen to be home and answer their phones) and then conclude that 51.2% of the voters favor so-and-so. I'm not talking about the "polls" where they "ask" you, "If you knew that Sam Snort likes torturing small animals and wants to give Ohio to the Russians, would you be more or less likely to vote for him?" I mean real polls. Some woman called me a couple days ago saying she was doing a political poll. I said "If this is a real poll, I'll be glad to answer, but if not, I'll hang up". She hung up on me.
The main thing is for everybody to vote and to make sure that the vote is as honest as we can make it. The pollsters can follow Dick Cheney's advice for all I care.
