So you are using 2 or more names on EBay? I would be carefull saying that because you can be kicked off Ebay bidding that way no matter what the reason is. When I am bidding on something I allways check what my compeditors bids on to see if they are buying these things all the time or if they may be raising the price for a freind. I allways compair the feed back to see if they bid on each others stuff but don't end up buying it. If I was to see there EBay name in each others auctions a lot but not winning I might get concerned. You do lose privacy on EBay because you can see what the bidder bids on in the last 30 days wether they win the item or not. I buy a lot of fire related stuff and that way I can see if they are interested in those items and if they are I know I am in for a bidding war and get prepaired. I did not notice both those were your names you use on EBay. Guess I am slipping a little but I was not bidding on the truck either. If I catch something not looking right I stop bidding till the end hoping it dose not keep just going up if I realy want it. This does go on quite often on eBay I have have people asking me to bid up items but I won't do it unless it was to get it closer to the reserve price. Done that once befor for a guy. Seems strange to bid against your self and I can't figure why you would want to do it unless you wanted to just get it up to what it is worth to you in a hurry and let others know you are willing to pay a large amount for it. That keeps some out of the game of bidding. I myself do not like reserves and most of the time will not bid on them. Brather have the bidding start out higher then to play games with $10.00 bids on a $5,000.00 reserve item it does not make sence to me. Just my opinion on the subject. Mark H.
