True, there has been no official release yet, but once you see several hundred vehicles in testing and in the Chrysler parking lot you can be assured that the production line is rolling. That photo was taken at the release to Dealers and Service Technicians for training, that is the car. Picture a modified fastback on the Magnum body and that is the Charger. It will be built on the same platform as the Magnum and 300, with much of the same sheetmetal. Federal regulations mandate pretty much what vehicle look like now, and economy of scale dictate how radical Dodge can get with this car. They already have the Viper loss/leader, they want to make money with this car and the Charger name lives on. I remember when the original Charger first came out, it was huge when compared to the 'Pony' cars, and laughed at as a big family sedan with a sloped roof (remember the Marlin?), but it soon overcame it's "limitations", was restyled, and became a legend. Give the new Charger some time and let's see where it goes.
