To bad they are only making them faster and nicer to drive. I took a look under my 98 Dodge and there are so many controls, wires and exposed things to damage off road that the only real place they are designed to go is on roads with some snow or mud! I would hate to have a branch stick up into the bottom of my newer dodge and drag around with all that stuff exposed. I think they need a bunch of skid plates added to the truck so it can go off road with out worrying so much. Mark H.
