Inside the Adirondack Park, 6 million acres of public and pivate land, there are huge tracks that are classified as Wild Forever.

This is guaranteed by state consitition. Nothing but foot and horse. People are always trying to chisel at it for snow mobiles, ATV's, Seaplanes etc. They dont win. When I am backpacking, the last thing I want to hear is a engine of any type. Yet in the proper areas, I love 4x4.
