Matt and the others are correct, except for the year. A series trucks started with a different number sequence than the D and W's so the number 11435 should be a 1968.
20 denotes an A 100/108 window van (wagon), 8 is the number of cylinders, 7 is the St. Louis, MO assembly plant. The 318A and 318LA are interchangeable when it comes to transmissions. You would be better off with the A (Poly) but the LA is an OK motor also. Triple A had the description for the motor correct.
