I have just started my rebuilt 251, and plugs 1 and 2 are not firing. The rest are. The gaps are right, clean gas, proper dwell, new cap, coil, condensor, rotor, and good compression across all cylinders. I have rebuilt the carb, and have done initial adjustments as well as timing adjustments. My carb has a little gas on the top of it, and I did not actually check to see if the float had a hole in it. I did check the float setting. Is it a carb problem, or is it something else, and if it is the carb, why would just 1 and 2 cylinders not fire? Those two plugs are wet. Thanks
