To clarify......... I have a bell housing that came from a WWII 6X6. The M-37 transmission will bolt up. Same trans bolt pattern for the military stuff. The WWII 3/4 ton (late) I believe to be the same. However the M-37 bell housing is to narrow to use in the WM300 frame and the peddle arrangement is different. Remember the M-37 is 4" narrower in the frame and the M-37 engine has a 2" off set from center in the frame.
The civilian syncro trans and WM300 bell housing have a different bolt pattern. So civilian synco trans has to go to the civilian bell housing. The military 420 syncro has to go to a military bell housing and the M-37 bell housing will only go in the M-37 but the WWII 3/4 and 1 and 1/2 ton will go in the Power Wagon.
Someone correct me if I have missed something here please.
