looking at my fleet of PG's with both FH6's and V8's they all look to mount up the same. Only difference might be is the front u-bolts hole that hold down the floating front engine mount but have observed there is 2 sets of holes which I assume one is for FH6 and the others V8. I know a 318 poly will fit perfectly/exactly where a 315 sat.
Eric B may be able to answer further. I just pulled a 315 with a 3 speed out yesterday from a 58 D100 I can measure the mounting tabs etc up and I also have a NP420 with bellhousing sitting there as well.
