I thought the same as Norm. Talked to my insurance agent who checked with the company.
My coverage, which is good insurance, covers my tow truck/trailer, no other vehicle on the trailer. It must have its own insurance.
If you have personal items on a trailer, they are covered under your home owners policy. Thats how mine works, dont know about other Ins Companies, but that needs to be checked.
