I am now at home resting a bruised foot. This morning at work, I was helping someone move a milled part to a crate.(read "big part, very solid, very heavy!") Long story short, part went crashing to the floor, part was not damaged because my foot stopped it's inpact with the floor. Now, picture, former Marine, on floor making noises like a girly man. Lot of pain. X rays show no broken bones, my steel toe boots took most of the inpact. The steel part of my boot was crushed, this could have been my foot. I was on my way to a class, thank God I still had on my boots. Boss looked at my boot and said I was very lucky.....and they will buy me another pair.
