It all has to do with #'s. All old Mopars fight this. There are zillion Mustangs and Camaro's and Ford trucks and Chevy trucks and the repro companys are concerned about #'s and return on tooling investment. X amount of dollars for tooling to sell fenders for what a few hundred Power Wagons or 1000's of old Ford trucks?!?!
This is another reason why a registry is a good thing! If companys can see Eric B's registry then they will see there are trucks out there. Do we really know how Many Power Wagons are still around?????????
There are very few Dodge Chargers out there compared to Mustangs and Camaro's. Theres way more Dodge Chargers then Power Wagons and the repro department is very small for the Chargers. Common things among all the old Mopar Muscle cars are being reproduced because as a whole the #'s are good enough!
The Power Wagon will probably always be hard to locate things for. But the Power Wagon is unique as VPW is out there to help. There is no VDC (Vintage Dodge Chargers) to help.
