Hello Steve:

Adding headers wont hurt a thing! Just make shure you get ones that clear the starter, firewall, frame etc. You may want to put a heat shield by the starter. Also if you go with a 4BBL carb, get a Carter AFB or Edelbrock. I have never had any good luck with Holley Carbs, but a EdelBrock or AFB will really make your 360 run good. Good luck!
