The PTO is fairly simple and easy. The only adjustment of bearings is drive shaft bearings. I would disassemble it down to the drive shaft and fork leaving those alone unless the fork is worn or the shaft is badly pitted where the oil seals ride and you plan on replacing them. VPW has a lot of the internal parts and other dealers have parts they don't. The items you probably might need to replace is the shift rail, drive shaft, needle bearings and shafts, bearings and oil seals.
