The easy way others and I have found to remove them is to drill two holes through the seal's outside layer only (to hold shavings of steel) 180 degrees apart and thread for a 3/8 bolt. Use a two inch wide 3/8 plate drilled and threaded for a 1/2 NC bolt center bolt and the two outside bolts. Tighten the outside bolts and turn the center to remove the seal
