Definitely repairable.
When welding it should be preheated if brazing. Best to drill at least a 3/16 to 1/4 inch hole at the ends of the crack, just like you do to stop a glass crack. Then when it's brazed or nickel-arc welded the hole is filled, but hole still acts as a stress relief.
Once it's done being welded you can toss it in the barbeque on some hot coals and come back in the morning. That's about right for the post-heat process and real easy too. Don't have to preheat with a good nickel arc welding rod.
