I have a refurbished tailgate from a '53 PW w/series II bed. I don't know if it's the same as the one for your WDX. The tailgate has all of the dents knocked out the old fashioned way with a dolly and hammer. I replaced the rivets that hold the chain brackets on the upper left/right sides with hex bolts and cap(acorn)nuts. I skinned the tailgate on both sides to fill in the sanding and tool marks. It's presently in primer, and ready for a final coat. If you think the tailgate will fit your truck, or you need me to measure my tailgate to confirm the fit, let me know. I live in the Houston,Texas area, and could ship the tailgate via UPS or FedEx ground for around $25.00. The price is $250.00 plus shipping.
