Your inlet valve has crud under it's seat....sorta like the truck as a whole. Start it up, pinch the rubber fuel line with a pair of pliers, and run it till it dies. At which point the fuel bowl will be empty, with the inlet wide open. Now release the fuel line, and start it up. The inrushing fuel through the open valve should blow the crap out of the inlet valve. Try it again if needed, otherwise time to dissassemble the carb.
