been like that 5 years no problems battery adjust generator points in the regulater cost around $3.00 49.00 for 8V battery at TSC. get some spare bulps to replace the weak ones drive thats it I drive a lot at night always worked well. even with the OD splitter and Tach. JUSt my .02
