My "new" truck (1992 D350 dually) rides like... well... it rides like a truck!! It's stiff!! I can tell you from the very few things I've hauled/towed, that Cummins moves out whether it's just hauling my lard butt around or severl thousand pounds on the back. Can't hardly tell there's anything back there! I did have a flat last week, right rear outside dual and the inside one helped me get it to a station without having to change the tire on the highway! That was one nice little perk! I haven't had it long enough to know to many things about it, but the one thing I like are the smaller rear fenders than the newer trucks that have made the whole side of the bed a fender!! These are just little things that stick out and cover just the wheel. They're no wider than my mirrors, so if I don't hit anything with the mirrors, I'll miss the rear fenders.
I love it so far!! Sorry, that doesn't answer too many questions, but had to chime in when someone mentions first series dually diesels!
