1953 Dodge M37 with slip-in fire unit $3,900 [CA]
Truck is in very good condition generally, but the engine DOES NOT RUN - has a broken crank.
I got this truck directly from the Two Rock Volunteer fire department about 9 years ago, in the usual fire-department kept condition, nice and clean, and indoors. Since then I have used it for minor fire work, and parades, and other displays.
The paint has been faded some, and there are a few small holes in the cowl, but no rust on the truck that I am aware of, and the body is quite good. The frame is not welded on that I can recall, all mods are bolt-on. Fire unit works, pumps nicely. There are some small holes in the bed where wiring and water pipe go through to the front. Engine was at idle speed when the crank broke, about 2 years ago, and I am not aware of what other damage might have been done. Under the hood is virtually all original 24V. waterproof, etc.
Price $3,900 - winch is NOT included at this price, but winch and other parts are available for purchase.
