O. T. truck bedliner paint/roll on

We have an old beater truck for trash hauling, etc that has a lot of dings and rusting in the bed. It needs to be coated, but I would rather not Line-X it due to its worth/age. Has anyone used Gator GUard or Herculiner? The gator guard is epoxy, I wondered if it was better?
