I understand that a powerwagon is a stout vehicle but a 1 ton cucv has a monster drivetrain the only thing really bigger as far as axles is the rockwell stuff. By using the cucv drivetrain you could have the cool look of a powerwagon but have alot better driving vehicle, because of gearing, motor overdrive transmissions, disk brakes, and other things. My thinking is to have a vehicle that can go places like the original drivetrain would take you but also be able to cruise on the highway at 70mph.
