Here's why you may need to post there:
There was no CJ3 and the M606 was not a "fill-in ... until the M38A1 was in production." That was the M38, which was a militarized CJ3A (low hood with the L-head engine). The M38A1 went into production in '51, so it predates the CJ3B.
Plus Willyses built from 1953 could all be considered Kaisers since Kaiser-Frazer bought Willys-Overland in '53. The "Willys"-stamped sheetmetal didn't run out for about a decade after Kaiser-Frazer bought W-O.
Maybe you're thinking of the later M606A2 and M606A3 Jeeps that were, if I recall correctly, militarized CJ5 Jeeps (so they were militarized versions of the civilian version of the military's M38A1; gets twisted, don't it). :-)
Now go apologize to your CJ. ;-)
