Ron,
My wife (Collette) got one lat year. It's a used 2003 GT (Turbo PT). The local dodge dealer found it at an auction at a good price.
My wife was looking at the Liberties, but she didn't like the way it road, and I didn't like the mpg's. She does a lot of short trips.
I asked if she wanted to look at a quad cab Dakota, so declined, so I suggested the PT, and she actually looked.
She loved it, but the non-Turbo didn't have enough power for her, so we started looking for a Turbo. She wanted the blue, but wound up with a black one.
It's a great car. I can't quite get used to the way it feels like the brakes automatically apply when you let off the accelerator though. It's got great get up and go, and plenty of room.
She gets 20.x MPG running around here locally, short trips.
If your wife wants I'll see if Collette send her an e-Mail on her thoughts of the vehicle.
Hope you get the Poly back together soon. I'm still not sure about VT yet. What route do you plan on taking?
