Tires on going saga

So I serched back fourms on tires.Holy cow there's a lot of info. Reading all that makes me wonder what to do. I've read that the michelins are a grate tire but soft and I worry about them wearing out to fast.Living in the city I do a fare amount of driving on the pavement. I would realy like to have a 900r16 size tire on my 60 W200. Swampers are grate on a rock crawler but not an all round offroad tire. so ant suggestions on what to buy without breaking the bank.
