WDX production started with 83900001 and ended with 83906216 so yours at 83904083 is near the middle, and may be a 1946 or a 1947. It is hard to say as the production numbers do not break down the number made per year in 1946-47.

Does your truck have a winch?

If so I would be interested in the winch number as well.
