I'll stick with the big city Fire/ Rescue/ EMS to make a living. Plus, I get enough wildland and grass fire work with my little Volunteer FD where I live. There is no pay, so the motivation is to keep your house and hay (or your neighbors) from burning up. We pray for rain around here.
