There is always a but.
I could not hook it to the coil ballast resistor since this vehicle uses an internal ballest in teh coil. So....I hooked up the idiot light #1 in series with a panel lamp bulb to key switch. Immediate output and the idiot light works as it should.
I dont want to use the idiot light as I have a voltmeter mounted in the vehicle. What can I subsitute for the light bulb as a resistor ? or is it easier just to mount the idiot light under the hood out of the way. Thanks for your suggestion....it worked.
