I have posted on here before, and have had good success. I just couldn't resist sharing this with a bunch of guys who will really appreciate it. I like everyone else have been looking for a solid windshield frame for my 57 K-6 W300 F/F restoration. I work for a welding and gas distributor, when a guy comes in to fill his oxygen cylinder. Somehow Power Wagons come up,and he is turning a late 47 2WD into a street rod project. He starts showing me pictures, and I see no windshield frame. I ask how his was,and his reply was oh I threw it on my load of scrap metal that I'm going to haul away today. Was it all rusted out I asked. Oh no its real solid, but I won't be using it. I asked if he could take it off the load going to the scap metal dealer and I would like to come and look at it. So he did and so I went and looked and couldn't believe my eyes. It was rock solid. Take it away he said, cause I was throwing it out anyway. And he would not take anything for it either. I still can't hardly believe it. It's now apart and ready for the soda blaster. I just had to share this. I think I gotta buy the guy dinner or something!
