The auxiliary transmission is 20" from U-joint to u-joint. For a 114" wheelbase truck, the rear drive shaft starts at about 35".
35" - 20" -7"(adding a shaft) 3" (shorting existing 10" shaft)= 11"
Do you think the pinion is gonna move 6" during use?
I guess I'm gonna have to get those intermediat shafts down to 5" or less, and perhaps semi-marry them afterall.
