What Are Your Favorite Tires?

Time for new tires for my '50 B-2 PW (It's my Birthday) and I want to know what the best tires are for my Budd wheels for on- and off-road performance. Clearly the off-road is more important, and they have to have a big, agressive tread. But I do need 5, since the spare is 54 years old and dry-rotted, so cost is also a concern. Love the XLs, but cost is a bit prohibitive. Thanks for your help!
