You'd actually be very surprised...most manufacturers hardly make anything on these fancy cars.
Ford for example makes the most money on their F150.
Dodge Viper for example, I'm told Chrysler was making more money off Neon's than the Vipers.
These cars take megga bucks to engineer & they build so few that it's really just to get you in the door....I'm not so sure they even make any money off them but if you figure that if Dodge hadn't come up with the Cummins idea or the Viper idea...they'd be long gone out of business.
They had 1 1/2 feet in the grave in 1988.
