Portland is just east of Middletown, CT on Route 17A. I couldn't make it but Linda went last year and took some photos. Definitely worth the trip if it's anything like last year.... Last year all the trucks had to line up on the dirt road because of all the rain and soggy ground. Hopefully this year will be drier, so the trucks can spread out a little better.

One of the longest running military vehicle shows in the country, includes Jeeps, 3/4 to 5-ton trucks, WWI tank, half track and DUKW, several pieces of vintage artillery, antique trucks and fire trucks, the Governor's Footguard, flea market, antique cannon and crew demonstrating authentic cannon fire procedure
Possible display of equipment by CT National Guard, vehicle judging and awards, military reenactors will also demonstrate period dress and equipment, food on site, two free admissions with each show vehicle, and one helper per vendor
