PLAN A:
If you plan to use the siren only occasionally, I would replace the 12-volt battery with two 6-volt ones in series, and use the center tap to drive the siren. The OCCASIONAL discharge of the one battery will not cause a problem.
PLAN B:
Or put an independent 6-volt battery in the truck, just for the siren. The battery would not need to be constantly charged, if only used occasionally, however, you can charge the battery with (1) a solar panel, or (2) a built-in 12-volt to 6-volt power supply, or (3) a shore line connected to a 6-volt charger.
PLAN C:
Alternatively, take the siren to a motor rebuilder, and have it rewired for 12 volts.
