Matt: It's a lot like real estate. A house is worth whatever someone is willing to pay and whatever someone is willing to sell it for.
With original owner and low mileage, I would keep it at all costs. They are very expensive to restore as you have found from the Forum. Do not treat it as an investment unless you intend to sell it. Treat it as a keepsake from another era and let your family enjoy it for as long as they can. Would to see pictures of it on the Forum.
