Try a local autoparts store, check out the additives section, look for something called "Cool It" or such, the stuff is used in race cars. It's a wetting agent (makes the water stick to the metal better) it can be up to $20 bucks, but it may be a short fix. Additionally, if it can handle the pressure (hoses/core sound) increasing the pressure cap pressure lowers the boiling point. Change out for a couple of pounds higher cap. Last, remove the thermostat, allowing full flow to the engine (likely get a lot of postings on (-'s) of this, but it can work, just don't push the engine hard till she warms up. Regards WAW
