Not really a cost effective suggestion, but I know that the 73 to 77 trucks used a right angle, cast iron, bracket that bolts to the frame and looks really stout. The problem, it takes a steering box that is reverse rotation, and VERY expensive. I have one of the brackets if you are interested, and I got the price on the backwards box from the local Autozone. Don't remember the price, just that it was REALLY high. Another thought, I know that Chevys have the same kind of problem, and in the January 98 Four Wheel and Off Road there was an article on a company offering a brace that goes from the frame behind the steering box to the front crossmember. Didn't look that hard to build at home, and am planning to try it on my truck, I just haven't gotten that far yet. Let me know if you need a copy of the article, and I'll see what I can do, Morpar
