The June issue contains the second part of the WWII Dodge carryall restoration chronicle, also the second part of an article by Kevin Foust, and the first part of an article by Al Dominek covering the restoration of a WWII 3/4 ton cargo bed.
The June issue is also the first to have addresses applied with ink jet, including bar codes. This should mesh better with the USPS automation, and hopefully will get you your magazine quicker. Let me know after a few months if you are seeing that.
Also, if I have 24 pages in stead of 20, I could apply for a periodical class mailing permit. I would like to solicit articles on restoration, repair, history, pertinent travel and trips, and other topics relevant to our trucks. Most big time magazines have a backlog of content extending 8-10 months in advance. If I can get a continued flow and established backlog, and reliably develop 20 pages of content each month, we can look at this matter of the periodical class mailing.
Feature articles of length are a big thing that the web is not providing. The print medium the place for that kind of content. What ideas do you have for articles? What experiences can you share? What topics are we missing?
Next issue, July 2004, is the 20th anniversary....
