In the Peoples' Serene Republik of Nueva Yok, a friendly (!!!) worker at the BAW (Bureau of Arrogant Women) simply did a search for similar VIN's to verify that mine was within the supposed limits for the year my truck was claimed to be. She did me a favor, in fact, and found several folks within 60 miles or so who are registered owners of PW's, whom I had never met.
