Keith's post below hit it on the head. Rally time means finding PW haulers that are best suited to our needs.
I need to exchange my 42' gooseneck for a 28' tag-a-long. With steel prices going out of sight, new trailers - particularly larger sizes - have become very expensive.
I am down sizing. That means I can sell my trailer at 1999 prices saving the buyer a bundle and giving me enough to get a new, higher priced, smaller trailer.
My present trailer has electric brakes on all three axles, and the tread ways are catwalk grating material - light, but strong.
I would consider a trade. I need to haul a 3/4 ton Army truck and trailer. I need the 28' length for balancing and securing the load. I prefer rubber torsion axles and easy-lube hubs on tandem 7,000# axles with 16", ten-ply tires.
Let's act quickly so we will be ready for Fairfield.
If you are serious, e-mail me. If you are just "kicking tires" do it on the Forum.
