Mice and Power Wagons

What is it about mice and Power Wagons? I have bought 4 PWs in the last 3 years and everyone of them has been home to untold numbers of mice. The '48 I'm working on must have been headquarters for the mice militia of Montana. I guess these things are way too tempting, just sitting out in a field or a barn or someplace.
