I shipped some tires to Hawaii a while back via US mail and it was reasonable -- just write a label on a piece of paper and wrap clear tape around it. The lady at the post office with fake fingernails and tammy-faye makeup gave me an unforgettable look when I set them on the counter, but they took them.
