makes sure it is sealed up from the backside. Use a good bright light on the front side and see if you can see it showing through in the wiper housing in the dark or vice versa. If so then you have a place where water will get in. A good automotive seam sealer will help though it will be difficult to get all the places with it still attached, you may get lucky and not be too bad. I did thin smooth paintable seam sealer on the outside of the seams just to be certain it would not leak as well. Just make sure it is good and smoothed out in just the grooves otherwise it will show badly when you paint. not easy to sand down to feather the edges as it sets up quick. I would personally not smooth in the seam it gives the cab it's Dodge personality.
