Kevin in Ohio posted this on the WW2 Forum, but i thought someone here might need it too. A 1939 cab in Arizona.

Well, it's a cab and it's painted green.
It LOOKS like it's a 1939 cab, as the door latches in the open door shot LOOK like the 1939 house door latch rather than the 1940-47 rollover latch, and unfortuantely that means that you gcould really only put it on a 1939 truck as both the door edge and the matching part of the door frame are specific to the 1939 trucks.
There weren't a lot of 'Army' trucks that year, but there were a good few 'Civilian Conservation Corps' trucks which were mostly the civilian trucks with army green paint and CCC-xxxxx numbers on. The cab code he quotes (M-1-2) is for a TC-TD-TE-TF cab, and that cab plate would only have been on a civilian-type vehicle (like my TD 20 for example)
If you are in Arizona and need a 1939 cab this is for you, but check everything before bidding in case I'm wrong.
